Klamath Lake

As the temperatures increase, the big migratory fish of Klamath Lake and Agency Lakes are finding refuge in the cooler waters of the Williamson River, Wood River, and many feeder stream of the Klamath Basin.  This time of the season is one of my favorites because we can target enormous Redband Trout in the rivers or lakes and resident Brown Trout on the Wood River….it all depends on the clients personal taste.  We also have a great Salmon Fly hatch on the Rogue River.  If dry fly fishing interests you more, the Hexagenia Mayflies are coming off on the Williamson!
