Hey folks, sorry the posts kind of disappeared, but life got a little sidetracked! We’re still here and as happy as ever! Well anyways, the rivers are low and clear, but the fishing is GREAT!!! The Hex’s started early on the Williamson, and are in full swing! We’re already picking a few fish up on hoppers on the Wood, but majority of the bigger fish seem to be in the lower river still eating leech imitations! Hope to see you on the water soon! Tight lines!

Williamson and Wood River Fly Fishing Report….July 22, 2014
Sorry to all for not being timely on posting reports this season. Life gets busy….especially with raising kids. Anyways, the Hex hatch is tapering towards its end, but the fishing is still great. There are many trophy fish in both rivers at this time. The Williamson fish seem to be keying on smaller flies, but there are still a few that will inhale a larger leech. We’re still getting nice fish on dries on the Wood River during the hatches (mainly morning), but the bigger fish are being caught on streamers. I will be participating in a casting and fly tying clinic at The Waterwheel RV Park on The Williamson River Saturday July 26th. LTS Fly Rods, Pavati Drift Boats, and a good friend from On The Fly Guide Service will all be there. The event is from 11AM to 5PM and is free of charge. Hope to see you there!
